Port users and the wider community provide advice and guidance on the use and future for the Port.
The Port Tarakohe advisory group has an advocacy role. Membership includes port users and the wider community, meeting in a structured and positive environment.
The group provides advice and guidance on the use and future for the port, recognising the challenges the Council has in ensuring the port facility is financially sustainable.
